I tell all of my clients that patience with a newborn is key.  Most sessions take approximately 4 hours with feedings and trying to get the baby to sleep.  With how quickly a newborn changes it definitely pays off to be patient.  I definitely recommend doing a session by the time your baby is 10 days old.  Even one week makes a huge difference in the life of a newborn.  Little Teddy may have taken a while to get to sleep but it was well worth the time spent!

Somebody didn’t want to miss out on everything that was going on and was wide awake!  Well it turned out to be a long day but completely worth it.  Look how beautiful this little fighter is!  Congratulations on the newest addition to your family.  More to come soon

Little Jack was such a joy to photograph!  He was wide awake the first 3 hours I was there.  I was getting really nervous he was never going to sleep.  This shows you what patience will bring.  By the end he was so worn out he did whatever we wanted him to do.  I’m so happy for the Haight family on the newest addition to your family.  Patience has paid off for you as well!!

I had the pleasure of capturing this little one’s brand new entrance into this world yesterday.  At 10 days old she is so cuddly and cute!!  Thank you “C” family for choosing me at such a precious time in your lives.  I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite photos from yesterday’s session!

What better way to capture a newborn than in black and white.  It is so timeless and although they only stay a newborn for such a short period of time, their photos can last forever.  Enjoy a few of my favorites from this little one’s first days.

Since my dad lives too far away and I didn’t get to spend father’s day with him, what better way to spend it than photographing a 10 day old baby.  This is daddy’s first fathers day and I was so happy to capture this special time in their life.   I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from the session.  More to come soon!

Thank you to the “W” family for letting me in your home yesterday to photograph your precious 14 day old baby boy!  He was such a joy to photograph I couldn’t wait to share these with all of you!  If you couldn’t tell from the photos, daddy’s in a band!  I’m so excited how great these turned out.  I hope the “W” family loves them as well!
